NSS Unit in collaboration with Placebo club, School of Pharmacy, Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh organized the “NSS Camp- Green India Clean India”, on 6^th February 2024. The main objective behind the celebration is to keep our country clean by motivating the youth and spread the idea of the cleanliness. Cleanliness and Planting trees are important activities that have significant impact on our environment & overall wellbeing. Various events were organized like Rangoli Competition, Cleanliness and plantation drive. All the students of School of Pharmacy participated in the activities with great enthusiasm.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor Desh Bhagat University and welcome address was given by Dr. Puja Gulati, Principal, School of Pharmacy. She told the importance of this celebration and motived towards participation. All the faculty members and students worked hard for the success of this activity. At the end of the event, Dr. Puja Gulati, Principal, School of Pharmacy distributed prizes to the winners and Ms. Oshina, Assistant Professor delivered a vote of thanks to all the participants, students and faculty.

Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Abhijit Joshi acknowledged and appreciated the efforts put in by students of Faculty of Pharmacy. He appreciated efforts of Placebo club and conveyed best wishes to organize these types of activities.
