On Dated 09.02.2024 the ADR Center, University School of Law, Desh Bhagat University Mandi Gobindgarh has organized “Client Counselling Program on Awareness towards Banking Fraud”. Dr. Anu Mutneja, Head of Department delivered welcome speech then Dr. Arti, Head of ADR Center focus on various aspects was banks are facing many challenges and many opportunities are available with the banks. Many financial innovations like ATM’s, credit cards, passbook kiosk, e-lobby, mobile banking, SMS banking etc. have completely changed the face of Indian banking. And not only individuals have benefited from this technological advancement because various industries have felt its great influence as well. The basic objective of this Client Counselling Program is to analyse the problems and prospects of electronic-banking issues & disputes on ground level. Ms. Tania, Ms. Sonali, Ms. Pallvi, Ms. Pawandeep Kaur, Ms. Amandeep Kaur, Ms. Mansha, Mr. Ashish, Mr. Rishabh, Mr. Akshdeep Singh, Mr. Gurpardeep Singh, Mr. Pawan Kumar & Ms. Suneina etc. BALLB (H) & LLB Students were revealed that people are facing problem with respect to privacy, language barrier and lack of knowledge about e-banking services. So, ADR centre should undertake promotional activities to educate customers about e-banking services make them aware about the e-banking benefits and also convert potential customers into E-Banking customers as well as resolved matter related to banking transactions on ground level. In last Dr. Prabhjot Kaur Ghuman and Ms. Manpreet Kaur, Member coordinator guide to all students were interested to resolved banking issues, matter to followed legal norms and awareness.
