NSS Unit in collaboration with Faculty of Pharmacy, Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh organized the “NSS Camp- Clean India-Green India”, on 31^st January, 2024. The main objective behind the celebration is to keep our country clean by motivating the youth and spread the idea of the cleanliness. It is a day to educate people about the harm caused by polluted environment. Various events were organized like Cleanliness and plantation drive. D.Pharmacy students of School of Pharmacy, Sardar Lal Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy & MJK college of Pharmacy participated in the activities with great enthusiasm.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor and Prof. Dr. Abhijit Joshi, Vice Chancellor Desh Bhagat University and welcome address was given by Dr. Puja Gulati, Principal, School of Pharmacy. She told the importance of this celebration and motived towards participation. All the faculty members and students worked hard for the success of this activity. At the end of the event, Ms. Kushpal, Principal, MJK college of Pharmacy motivated the students to participate in such activities in future & Dr. Shailesh Gupta, Principal, Sardar Lal Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy delivered a vote of thanks to all the participants, students and faculty.

Pro Chancellor, Dr. Tejinder Kaur congratulated Staff, students and members of Placebo Club for successful conduct of the event.

Vice President Sir acknowledged and appreciated the efforts put in by students of Faculty of Pharmacy. He appreciated efforts of Eco club and conveyed best wishes to organize these types of activities.
