Desh Bhagat University organized a ‘Anti- Ragging Sensitization guest lecture on 17/08/2023.  The Chief guest of the event was Mrs Harpinder Kaur, DSP of Amloh. Dr Arshdeep Singh formally welcomed honorable chief guest with gratitude.

 The Lecture was presented by Mrs. Harpinder Kaur  In her lecture, she elucidated the mental and physical  distress that can be caused by ragging. She mentioned about the adverse effects of Ragging on student’s mind which causes annoyance, hardship, psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension there in a fresher or a junior student. Also, she addressed that if any one faces ragging anywhere, he/she should inform the head of the institution in order to control this act.

After that, a documentary was played in which Students were briefed about the menace of ragging in the educational institutions. An important message was give to maintain the campus Ragging Free.

A formal vote of thanks was give by Dr Rajiv Sharma, and the function came to the end with the National Anthem.
