S. Lal Singh Memorial college of Pharmacy, Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh organized an online Guest Lecture on 10^th October 2023. Dr. Shamsher Singh Professor and Head, ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga Punjab, as a speaker of the day shared information regarding current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) on the occasion of National current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) Day initiated by Indian Drug Manufacturer’s Association (IDMA).

Dr. Zora Singh, Hon’ble Chancellor, Desh Bhagat University gave the opening address of the programme. Also, Ms. Paramjeet Kaur, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacy delivered the welcome note and vote of thanks. All faculty members and students attended the guest lecture.

Dr. Shamsher Singh described the importance and function of cGMP in pharmacy field. He also describes the importance for a system to ensuring that products should be consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards.
