School of Hotel Management & Tourism, Desh Bhagat University organized “Workshop on Flower Arrangement” on 7^th May 2024. The objective of the workshop was to acquaint students with various types of flower arrangements used for various types of events. The students of various programs, participated and shown keen interest in learning the arrangements. The workshop was delivered by Ms. Rupinder Kaur. She explained various types of flowers, materials used in flower arrangements, various shapes, styles and colour combinations used. She also discussed care to be taken for selection of flowers and other materials. Students got hands on experience and prepared flower arrangements by themselves as well.

Dr. Zora Singh Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University congratulated the department for organizing such workshop and said that these workshops enhance creativity among students.

Dr. Tajinder Kaur Pro-Chancellor said that flowers induce colours in our life and are a symbol of emotions.
