On January 18, 2023, the Placebo Club of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Desh Bhagat University in Mandi Gobindgarh hosted. “Viksit Yuva Viksit Bharat—National Youth Day.” The main objective behind the celebration is to make a better future for the country by motivating the youth and spreading the ideas of Swami Vivekananda. National Youth Day is also known as Yuva Diwas. It is a day to educate people on how to behave properly in the country. Swami Vivekananda says that youth should be full of hope and positive energy because they are the future of our nation. Various events were organiz , like a quiz competition, a speech competition, a slogan writing competition, a tree plantation, and a poem recitation competition. The students participated in all the activities with great enthusiasm.

The competition was inaugurat by. Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, and the welcome address was give by Prof. B. D. Dhiman, Principal, S. Lal Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy. He explained the significance of the occasion and encouraged everyone to take part.Certificates were awarded to the winners. All the faculty members and students worked hard for the success of this activity. At the end of the event. Dr. Amit Mittal, Dean Pharmacy, delivered a vote of thanks to all the participants, students, and faculty.

Pro Chancellor. Dr. Tajinder Kaur, congratulated staff, students, and members of the Placebo Club for the successful conduct of the event. Vice Chancellor, Dr. Virinder Singh, acknowledged and appreciated the efforts put in by students of the Faculty of Pharmacy. He appreciated the efforts of the Placebo Club and conveyed his best wishes to organize these types of activities in the future.
