The Faculty of Nursing at Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, organised an alumni meet for all graduating nursing students on December 30, 2022, under the guidance of Prof. Lovesampuranjot Kaur, the officiating director in charge of the Faculty of Nursing, and Prof. Prabhjot Singh, head of the Department of Community Health Nursing. On this occasion, Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, and Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Pro-Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, were the chief guests. Mr. Deepak Shandily, principal, Abhilashi College of Nursing, Sundar Nagar (HP), was also invited on this occasion. The event started with a lamp-lighting ceremony by honourable Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, pro-chancellor Dr. Tahinder Kaur, and all the dignitaries and faculty members of the nursing department. Students of B.Sc. Nursing and GNM performed various cultural activities.

Dr. Zora Singh Chancellor delivered a valuable speech to motivate the alumni for future achievements, and Prof. Lovesampuranjot Kaur provided an introductory speech. Mr. Arashdeep Singh, the Dean of Student Welfare, gave a vote of thanks at the conclusion of the event.
