Project Lab
Project laboratory involves the integration and implementation of knowledge and skills acquired during the degree program. It involves group work with hands-on experience on some live projects in the field of Electrical Engineering.
Digital Electronics Lab
This laboratory provides a platform for the students to have hands-on experience with digital ICs. The students will be able to have a better understanding of the concepts learned and they will gain experience in designing, testing, and realizing digital circuits.
Machine Lab
In this laboratory students perform experiments on Transformers, DC machines, single and three phase Induction motors, and Synchronous machines. Major equipments in this lab are AUTO- TRANSFORMER (3-PHASE , 40A, 415 V), DC Supply Unit, DC Motor – Induction Generator Set, DC Series and Compound Motor sets, Synchronous Motor Generator Sets with DC exciter, Three Phase – Angle Shifter, Power Scope (1 KV), Harmonic Analyzer, Arbitrary Function Generator
BEEE Lab
All the first year B.Tech students perform experiments in BEEE laboratory. This lab has all necessary apparatus like motors, generator (both A.C and D.C.), transformers, rheostats, capacitors, inductors, lamps all measuring instruments such as multimeters, voltmeters, ammeters, wattmeters, energy meters, etc. to effectively conduct experiments.
Control Systems Lab
Control systems lab is a Departmental core teaching lab. It contains a permanent magnet DC motor control setup, servo motor, first, second and higher order linear simulator set up, synchros, relay control system, function generator, oscilloscope, etc.
Measurement & Instrumentation Lab
Measurement and Instrumentation Laboratory is equipped with various transducers and instrumentation trainers; resistive, capacitive and inductive measurement systems; LVDTs and strain gauges; thermocouples and RTDs, etc. The lab also contains many basic electrical variables and time and frequency measuring equipment such as signal generators, stopwatches, digital multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
Electronics Devices and Circuits Lab
This laboratory intends to provide an overview of the Principles, operations and application of the analog building blocks like diodes, BJT, FET, etc. for performing various functions.
Communication Lab
This laboratory gives exposure to various modulation, demodulation techniques used in a communication system. It also develops knowledge about pre-emphasis and de-emphasis circuits. It also demonstrates digital communication concepts by providing hands-on experience using kits and using simulation environments
Microprocessor and Microcontroller Lab
This laboratory has various types of microprocessor, micro controller trainer kits along with interfacing modules to demonstrate the detailed applications of microprocessors. This laboratory is used to provide intensive practical exposure to learn the assembly and embedded C programming systematically for the different issues of microprocessor and microcontroller
