Message from Head – Department of Electrical Engineering

Welcome to the Department of Electrical Engineering. Our department aims to nurture competent engineers by providing a strong academic foundation combined with practical exposure. We focus on developing analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and technical skills that prepare students to meet modern industrial and societal challenges. Along with classroom teaching, students are encouraged to participate in projects, seminars, workshops, and innovative activities to enhance their overall development.

The department is supported by well-established laboratories that facilitate hands-on learning. These include the Power Electronics Lab and Microprocessor Lab (C-105), Digital Electronics and Analogy Lab (C-107), Project Lab (C-108), Basics of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Lab (C-119), Elements of Measurements and Instrumentation Lab, Electrical Machines Workshop (WS-002), and Electrical Power Lab. These labs provide students with opportunities to gain practical knowledge across various areas of electrical engineering.

Our dedicated faculty members continuously guide and motivate students toward academic excellence and professional growth. We also promote industry interaction, internships, and skill-oriented training programs. The department is committed to creating a learning environment that fosters innovation, teamwork, and ethical values, enabling students to become confident professionals and responsible contributors to society.
