On November 14, 2022, the “Children Day Celebration” for 2022 was organised by the Placebo Club, Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh, and S. Lal Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy. “A Better Future for Every Child” serves as the event’s theme. Its goal is to guarantee that every kid in the nation has access to his or her fundamental rights to family, education, and health. On this day, a talent hunt activity was organised, and the students enthusiastically took part in all of the events.

Dr. Zora Singh, the Desh Bhagat University Chancellor, officially opened the competition, while Prof. B. D. Dhiman, the principal of the S. Lal Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy, gave a welcome speech. Dr. Zora Singh said that children are our future and it is our moral and social responsibility to provide them a good and safe environment. We should give children the opportunity to make their dreams come true so that they can brighten the future of the country along with themselves. He discussed the significance of Children’s Day and how this holiday encourages youngsters to pursue academic success. This day is a symbol of our affection and love for children. The most talented artists received certificates. The success of this activity was the result of the hard effort of all the professors and students. Ms. Tehreen Parveen, assistant professor at the S. Lal Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy, gave a vote of thanks to all the attendees, students, and professors at the conclusion of the event. Dr. Tajinder Kaur, the pro-chancellor, gave staff, students, and Placebo Club members praise for the event’s smooth execution.
