IntroductionAn industrial visit for the students of the Mechanical Engineering Department was successfully organized on 9th April 2026 to Kangaro Industries Ltd., Village Kanech, Ludhiana. The purpose of this visit was to provide practical exposure to students regarding industrial manufacturing processes, product development techniques, and real-time working environments in the engineering sector.
A total of 51 students along with 4 faculty members participated in the visit. The visit proved to be highly informative and beneficial for the students in enhancing their technical understanding and industry awareness.

Objective of the Visit
The main objectives of the industrial visit were:
- To provide students with practical exposure to manufacturing operations.
- To understand real-time industrial working environments.
- To enhance knowledge about mechanical production systems and product manufacturing.
- To bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical implementation.
- To interact with industry professionals and understand career opportunities in the manufacturing sector.

Visit Overview
During the visit, the HR Department and Production Department of Kangaro Industries Ltd. extended excellent cooperation and support throughout the program. The students were guided through various sections of the manufacturing units, where they observed different production stages and operational techniques used in industrial processes.
The students gained valuable insights into manufacturing workflows, machinery operations, quality control procedures, and product assembly techniques. The interaction with industry professionals helped students understand the practical challenges and expectations of the engineering industry.
Overall, the visit was very knowledgeable and provided vast exposure to real-time industrial manufacturing processes and product knowledge.
