Desh Bhagat University (DBU) organized a One-Day Orientation Program on the Fascial Distortion Model (FDM) on January 15 at Mandi Gobindgarh.
The program was conducted by the Department of Physiotherapy in collaboration with Pillai Human Society, Patiala.
Mr. Thorsten Fischer, Founder & CEO, Center of FDM and Physiotherapy (ETAMED), Hannover, Germany, served as the Resource Person.
Dr. Narkeesh Arumugam, Professor and Ex-HOD, Department of Physiotherapy, Punjabi University, Patiala, was the Chief Guest.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Divya Midha, Head, Department of Physiotherapy.
Mr. Fischer delivered an extensive theoretical and practical session on FDM and its clinical applications in musculoskeletal disorders.
Dr. Narkeesh Arumugam shared motivational academic and clinical insights with participants.

Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, and senior officials graced the occasion.
