Union Minister Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar, Minister for Power, Housing, and Urban Affairs, was the Chief Guest and praised the event for promoting employment and industry-academia partnerships.

Dr. Zora Singh (Chancellor) and Dr. Sandeep Singh (President) of DBU were Guests of Honour and honored by the Union Minister for their exemplary contributions to education.

This was the first job fair in Haryana supported by the state government, following 74 fairs in Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh.

Youth from four districts participated:

DBU plans to hold similar job fairs in other Haryana districts.

Dr. Prabhleen Singh, OSD to the Chief Minister Haryana, encouraged young job seekers and appreciated the Union Minister’s support.

Over 50 reputed companies participated, with 4,108 job seekers attending both online and offline.

Dr. Sandeep Singh thanked all stakeholders for the success of the event.

Desh Bhagat University (DBU), Mandi Gobindgarh, in partnership with the Government of Haryana, successfully organized the 75th Mega Job Fair at Dr. Mangal Sen Auditorium in Karnal. The event was honored by the presence of Union Minister Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar, who commended the initiative for creating valuable employment opportunities and strengthening industry-academia collaboration. Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor, and Dr. Sandeep Singh, President of DBU, served as Guests of Honour and were recognized by the Minister for their outstanding contributions to education. Marking the first state-supported job fair in Haryana after 74 similar events across Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh, the fair attracted participation from youth across four districts. Dr. Zora Singh emphasized the university’s mission to transform young people into job creators rather than job seekers and announced plans for additional fairs in Haryana. Dr. Prabhleen Singh, Officer on Special Duty to the Chief Minister, encouraged the attendees by highlighting career growth potential in the private sector and expressed gratitude toward the Minister’s support. With participation from over 50 leading companies and more than 4,100 job aspirants attending both online and offline, the event was hailed as a tremendous success. Dr. Sandeep Singh expressed heartfelt thanks to all involved for their role in this impactful initiative.
