School of Hotel Management & Tourism, Institution’s Innovation Council and Desh Bhagat University jointly organized “Fruit Meets Fantasy: Create Magical Art with Every Slice” Workshop on 30th April 2025.School of Hotel Management & Tourism organized The “Fruit Meets Fantasy” workshop was a hands-on, creative session designed to blend culinary arts with imagination. Participants explored the art of fruit carving and decorative arrangement, transforming ordinary fruits into fantastical creatures, whimsical landscapes, and imaginative patterns.

The aim was to nurture creativity, develop fine motor skills, and promote healthy food engagement through a fun and educational experience. by the workshop was delivered by Chef Rinku Singh and Chef (Dr.) Aman Sharma explained about the history of Vegetables & Fruit Carving Skills, techniques. Along with the students. Also joined to acquire the skills.

The Hon’ble Chancellor, Dr. Zora Singh and Dr. Tajinder Kaur Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor congratulated the department for organizing and best wishes for the students and motivated them for future. Dr. Zora Singh while addressing the students praised the workshop of “Fruit Meets Fantasy: Create Magical Art with Every Slice “ and said, “It is the chef who converts food into an experience and happiness.”. The events were coordinated by Dr. Aman Sharma, Director-School of Hotel Management & Tourism , Chef (Dr). Rupinder Kaur, Mr. Gurkiran Singh Mann and Ms. Priya Verma were also present on the Workshop and motivate the Students
