Men’s Team Performance:
Secured Second Position (Runner-Up).
Medals won: 4 Gold, 4 Silver, 2 Bronze.
Gold Medalists: Ankur (68kg Gi), Gajender Huda (74kg Gi), Aman (66kg Gi), Sahil (98kg No-Gi).
Silver Medalists: Ankur (68kg No-Gi), Sahil (98kg No-Gi), Ajeet Chaudhary (66kg No-Gi), Vinay (82kg No-Gi).
Bronze Medalists: Mohit (98+kg No-Gi), Vikram (50kg No-Gi).
Women’s Team Performance:
Medals won: 2 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze.
Gold Medalists: Anshika Antil (50kg Gi), Anshika Antil (50kg No-Gi).
Silver Medalist: Tamanna (62kg No-Gi).
Bronze Medalist: Ronak Huda (46kg Gi).

Desh Bhagat University’s Men’s and Women’s Grappling teams had a remarkable performance at the All India Inter-University Grappling Championship held at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The Men’s Team secured a prestigious Second Position (Runner-Up), winning 4 Gold, 4 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals. Gold medalists included Ankur, Gajender Huda, Aman and Sahil, while Silver and Bronze medals were earned by Ankur, Sahil, Ajeet Chaudhary, Vinay, Mohit and Vikram. The Women’s Team also shone brightly, clinching 2 Gold, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze medal, with Anshika Antil leading the charge with Golds in both Gi and No-Gi categories. The university’s leadership, including Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhijit H. Joshi, congratulated the athletes on their success, further highlighting the university’s commitment to fostering sports excellence.
