Placebo Club, Faculty of Pharmacy, Desh Bhagat University, in collaboration with the Unnat Bharat Swachh Bharat, organized a camp on the theme “Youth for my Bharat” on 25th Feb, 2025. The event aimed to promote leadership and community engagement among young individuals.
Objectives: The primary objectives of the NSS camp were:
- To provide skill development opportunities for the youth.
- To promote leadership and community engagement among young individuals.
- To foster a sense of patriotism and responsibility towards the nation.
- To create a platform for youth to contribute to national development.
Activities: The camp featured a variety of activities designed to engage students and promote the theme of the event:
- Poster : Students participated in poster presentation that reflected the theme of “Youth for My Bharat”.
- Tree Plantation: A tree plantation drive was organized, during which students planted saplings in campus.
- Slogan Writing Competition:
- Participants were encouraged to create impactful slogans that reflected the theme of “Youth for My Bharat.”
- The competition aimed to foster creativity and express the participants’ dedication to national values.
- Winning slogans were displayed on banners and posters around the campus.
- Skit Performance:
- Students prepared and performed skit that highlighted various social issues and the role of youth in addressing them.
Desh Bhagat University and welcome address was given by Dr. Puja Gulati, Principal, School of Pharmacy. She told the importance of this celebration and motived towards participation. All the faculty members and students worked hard for the success of this activity. At the end of the event, Ms. Kushpal, Principal, MJK college of Pharmacy motivated the students to participate in such activities in future. Dr. Shailesh Gupta, Principal, Sardar Lal Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy delivered a vote of thanks to all the participants, students and faculty.
