Mandi Gobindgarh. 31 August: The Investiture Ceremony 2024-25 successfully inducted the newly elected members of the Students School Council. Dr. Zora Singh Chairman, Desh Bhagat Global School (DBGS) Mandi Gobindgarh and Dr.Tajinder Kaur General Secretary graced the occasion and blessed the Dbsians.

The ceremony commenced with a Green welcome followed by a melodious Shabad song. The School Principal, Ms. Indu Sharma, imbibed the spirit of ‘Soaring High’ and ‘leading by example’, while administering the oath to the Student Council led by the Head boy Tanmay Arora and Head Girl Seep Saini. Badges and Saches were given to House Captains, Vice Captains, Sports Captains, and House Prefects by the school dignitaries. The mesmerizing cultural performances by the Dbsians added the right amount of spice to the event. The zeal of the council was reflected in their confidence and dedication to execute their work.

Dr Zora Singh, Chairman, and General Secretary Dr. Tajinder Kaur congratulated the newly elected Student Council and motivated the house leaders with their candid words. They reminded them that they are the torchbearers of all the values that the School stands for. The ceremony concluded with the School Song followed by the National Anthem. Overall, it was a fantastic day for the school.
