Govt. notification at Banur, Ladpur, Malowal, Bhamrasi, and Talania of Distt. Fatehgarh Sahib under the guidance of Prof. Lovesampuranjot Kaur, Principal of the School of Nursing, and Prof. Prabhjot Singh. Head of the Department of Community Health Nursing. Sardar. Lakhwinder Singh Rai, MLA for Sirhind, inaugurated the Mohalla Clinic at Banur near Sirhind and shared the importance of these health care services at doorstep. Sardar Gurinder Singh Garry Warring, MLA Amloh inaugurated the Mohalla Clinic at Ladpur and Bhamarasi and thanked the nursing students of Desh Bhagat University for their participation in this drive. He said that Mohalla clinics are one of the foremost healthcare initiatives of the government of Punjab. They provide 45 laboratory tests free of cost, which is very helpful for needy people. Dr. Zora Singh. Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh, appreciated the initiative taken by the government of Punjab to improve the health care delivery system. On this occasion, Dr. Zora Singh said that healthy people are essential for the progress of any country. Only a healthy society can lay the foundation for a healthy and developed country. Students participated enthusiastically in this entire campaign.
