Programme Objectives

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEO1: Graduates shall have up-to-date knowledge in Computer Science & Engineering along with interdisciplinary and broad knowledge on mathematics, science, management and allied engineering to become computer professionals, scientists and researchers.

PEO2: Graduates shall excel in analyzing, designing and solving engineering problems and have life-long learning skills, to develop computer applications and systems, resulting in the betterment of the society.

PEO3: Graduates shall nurture team spirit, ethics, social values, skills on communication and leadership, enabling them to become leaders, entrepreneurs and social reformers.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

PSO1: Use research based knowledge and tools for the analysis and interpretation of data to synthesize information for obtaining valid conclusions.

PSO2: Design software systems, components, or processes to meet identified needs within economic, environmental and social constraints.

Program Outcomes:

PO1: Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, Simulation tools, modern techniques and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

PO2: Problem Analysis: Independently carry out research /investigation and development work to solve practical problems related to Computer Science and Engineering.

PO3: Design & Development of Solutions: To design and develop a system to meet desired needs within social areas such as economics, environmental, and ethics.

PO4: Conduct Investigations of Complex Problems: To work upon unfamiliar problems through investigative studies and research and contribute to the development of technological knowledge and intellectual property.

PO5:  Modern Tool Usage: Apply appropriate methodology and modern engineering/IT tools to meet the international standards in the area of Computer Science and Engineering

PO6: The Engineer and Society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice

PO7: Environment and Sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

PO8: Ethics: Acquire integrity and ethics of research to execute projects efficiently.

PO9: Individual and Team Work: Recognize the need for lifelong learning & research independently, with a high level of enthusiasm, commitment and accuracy to improve knowledge and competence continuously

PO10: Communication: Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.

PO11: Project Management and Finance: Observe and examine critically the outcomes of one’s actions and make corrective measures subsequently, and learn from mistakes without depending on external feedback.

PO12: Life-long Learning: Design one system for Computer Science and Engineering efficient system and make project report for its concept to implementation based on leanings above.
