Mandi Gobindgarh, February 9: Desh Bhagat University (DBU) participated in the Alberta (Canada) – India Diplomatic State Visit 2026 held in Chandigarh, reaffirming its commitment to global academic collaboration and international engagement. Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor, and Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Pro-Chancellor, represented the university at a high-level Executive Meeting and Strategic Dialogue, where they interacted with Hon. Rajan Sawhney, Minister of Immigration and Multiculturalism, Government of Alberta, Canada. During the meeting, the university leadership formally presented an official collaboration note outlining DBU’s vision, academic strengths, and proposed areas of cooperation between India and Alberta.
