Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital marked World No Tobacco Day 2025 with a comprehensive fortnight of awareness activities from May 20 to June 5. In collaboration with the National Resource Centre for Oral Health and Tobacco Cessation and the Dental Council of India, the college organized various events including awareness lectures, oral health screenings, counselling sessions, and creative competitions. A highlight of the fortnight was the Anti-Tobacco Rally, enthusiastically led by faculty and students and flagged off by Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Advisor Dr. Virender Singh. Principal Dr. Vikram Bali delivered a powerful lecture on the harmful impacts of tobacco, urging individuals to reject its use and encourage others to follow suit. Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh emphasized the crucial role of educational institutions in fostering a tobacco-free society.
