Desh Bhagat University Organizes “Freshers Party 2026 – Celebrate the Beginning”

The School of Hotel Management & Tourism, Desh Bhagat University, successfully organized the Freshers Party 2026 titled “Celebrate the Beginning” on 9 April 2026 at Mahapragya Conference Hall. The event was conducted to warmly welcome the newly admitted students and to provide them with a platform to interact, showcase their talents, and feel a sense of belonging within the department.

The program commenced with a formal welcome of dignitaries, faculty members, and students, followed by an engaging anchoring session that set a vibrant and energetic tone for the day. The event included a series of cultural performances such as dance, music, and fun-filled activities, which created an atmosphere of excitement and enthusiasm among the participants.

The freshers actively participated in various talent rounds and interactive sessions, displaying their creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm. Senior students also contributed by organizing entertaining segments, helping in building a strong bond between juniors and seniors.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Chancellor, Dr. Zora Singh, and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Tajinder Kaur, who addressed the students and motivated them to make the most of their academic journey. Their inspiring words encouraged the freshers to focus on both personal and professional growth.

The program was organized under the guidance of Dr. Aman Sharma, Director, School of Hotel Management & Tourism. The successful execution of the event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of faculty members including Dr. Rupinder Kaur, Mr. Gurkiran Singh, Ms. Nivedita, Ms. Srishti, who ensured the smooth conduct of the program.

One of the highlights of the event was the title distribution segment, where students were awarded titles such as Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher, along with other fun categories, recognizing their talent and confidence.

Overall, the Freshers Party 2026 was a grand success. It not only welcomed the newcomers with warmth and enthusiasm but also fostered a spirit of unity, confidence, and positivity among the students.
