Desh Bhagat University (DBU), a NAAC A+ accredited institution, honored Ms. Uthpala Sachinthani Kalupathirana, an undergraduate from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, for her exemplary performance during a teaching internship conducted under the university’s Global Classroom Project. Facilitated by AIESEC Sri Lanka (Colombo North) in collaboration with AIESEC Ludhiana, the internship spanned from May 1 to June 11, 2025. During this period, Ms. Uthpala delivered impactful sessions in Communicative English and English Grammar to students across various departments including Nursing, Ayurveda, Engineering, and Dental Sciences. Her student-friendly teaching style, ability to break down complex topics, and empathetic counselling support were particularly appreciated by the students. In recognition of her contributions, she was presented with an Award of Appreciation by Prof. (Dr.) Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor of DBU.
