Mandi Gobindgarh : Desh Bhagat University (DBU), a prestigious institution known for promoting academic excellence and cultural heritage, recently hosted an International Seminar on Gurmat Sangeet. This event, organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, brought together experts, scholars, and enthusiasts from around the world to explore the rich tradition of Sikh music. Held at the university’s modern campus, the seminar aimed to promote understanding and preservation of Gurmat Sangeet, the devotional music of Sikhism.

The event commenced at the Mahapragya Seminar Hall, with the Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, Dr. Zora Singh, presiding over the ceremony. Also present were Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur and Advisor to Chancellor Dr. Virinder Singh.
