Desh Bhagat University organises Guru Ka langar in memory of Mata Gujri and Sahibzada’s

The days from 21 to 27 December are commemorated as Sacrificial Week to honor the unparalleled sacrifices made by the four Sahibzadas and Mata Gurjri Ji, the family of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Guru of Sikhs. Their sacrifices played a pivotal role in the protection of Sikhism and Hinduism.


Remembering the Martyrs

The Sacrifices of Sahibzadas and Mata Gurjri Ji

  • Mata Gurjri Ji, Sahibzada Baba Ajit Singh, and Sahibzada Baba Jujhar Singh:
    • Martyred in the Battle of Chamkaur.
  • Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Baba Fateh Singh:
    • Buried alive in walls at Sirhind for resisting forceful religious conversion.

Their bravery and resilience serve as timeless inspirations for future generations.
