International Girl Child Day Celebrated
The Agrim Club of the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences, in association with the EK BHARAT SHRESHTHA CELL at Desh Bhagat University, organized an expert talk to commemorate International Girl Child Day. The event was conducted online, allowing participants to engage from various locations.
Guest Speaker
The resource person for the day was Saakshi Chauhan, a Research Associate at the Forest Research Institute in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Welcome Address
Dr. Avinash Bhatia, Assistant Professor at Desh Bhagat University, welcomed the resource person and all participants.

Objective
The main aim of the event was to highlight the significance of strong female bonds in promoting mental well-being and resilience, as well as to recognize and celebrate the positive influence that friendships among girls have in each other’s lives.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Miss Shivangi, who expressed gratitude to Prof. (Dr.) H.K. Shidhu, Dean of Agriculture and Life Sciences, for providing this valuable platform.
