The Swachhata Pakwadas event at Desh Bhagat University, organized by the Swachh Bharat/Unnat Bharat Cell, was a notable success in promoting environmental consciousness through artistic expression. Held in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the Fine Arts Department, the event underscored the university’s dedication to cleanliness and sustainability.

The core of the event was a Swachhata thematic painting competition, which encouraged students to engage creatively while emphasizing the importance of environmental stewardship.

Dr. Yeti Dutt, Dr. Sachin Bhardwaj (Nodal Officer for the Unnat Bharat/Swachh Bharat Cell), and Miss Shivangi Sood played pivotal roles in organizing and executing the event.

The painting competition saw enthusiastic participation and outstanding entries. The winners were:

• 1st Prize: Ms. Mahima Sharma
• 2nd Prize: Jatin Kumar
• 3rd Prize: Anjali from the Department of Agriculture and Life Sciences

Each winner was honored with a certificate and a trophy, celebrating their achievements and fostering continued engagement in environmental initiatives.
