On February 9. 2023, at Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgah welcomed the Spanish delegation for the establishment of the Center of Excellence to provide pathways for the students to acquire language proficiency and skills. Desh Bhagat University has previously signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hola India Company in collaboration with the Complutense University of Madrid to promote Spanish language culture, literature, and the enhancement of teaching and learning in India.

On this occasion, everyone paid tribute on the statue of Sardar Lal Singh ji. The event was inaugurate by Dr. Zora Singh, the Honorable Chancellor of DBU, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur. Vice chancellor Dr. Virinder Singh. President Sandeep Singh. Vice president. Dr. Harsh Sadawarti along with Mr. Javier Sierra, President, Hola India Company. Mr. Gabriel Castellano, Vice President.
