Programme Objectives

Specific Outcomes (PSO’S)

PSO1: The program Fine Art empowers the students and enables them to be well- trained and competent in the relevant field, make them a seasoned practitioner who could envision and create master pieces in art by keeping a moderate blend in the traditional and modern aspects of art.

PSO2: This program is designed to train skilled art practitioners who can work independently in a wide range of careers and performance or production opportunities.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO’S)

PEO1: To produce professional artists for undertaking in educational institutes, art      colleges and universities.

PEO2: To train students for entrepreneurship and vocational guidance.

Program Outcomes (POs)

PO1: Knowledge of different Fine Arts: Knowledge of painting, photography, sculpture, art is tic craft as media, ceramics and metal as well digital technology such as three-dimensional modeling Fundamentals of sculpture and printing, to find an a readapt favors the expressive style Art and Arts Education UNESCO heritage of India.

PO2: Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, research literature and analyze art problems historically as well as in modern perspectives to arrive at substantiated conclusions using techniques of research, ideas, field survey traditions and culture of India.

PO3: Development of solutions: Solutions are developed for aesthetic issues or problems so that art curriculum can be designed in a way that artists, professionals, art historians, critics, researchers and students can be benefited.

PO4: Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate research techniques and resources to discover new research and give solutions to the artistic problems with an understanding of the limitations.

PO5: Different art techniques: Understanding of applicable techniques and procedures in a multiplicity of pictorial media.

PO6: Historical and contemporary perspectives: Knowledge of varied art forms, painters and art pieces from diverse historical and contemporary contexts.

 PO7: Analyses of different art pieces: Art history across ethos and period, numerous   perspectives, understanding of ethnic perspective.

PO8: Creativity: Inspire towards creative and experimentations. 

PO9: Employability: Offer wide possibilities of employability in the field of artistry, sculpture, printing, photography.

PO10: Art & Society: Apply reasoning in formed by the contextual knowledge to asses socio—cultural & political issues and the consequent responsibilities towards the society.

PO11: Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to moral & professional ethics and responsibilities bounded by society.

PO12: Life- long learning: Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of art field.
