Dr. Rahul Dhiman, Assistant Professor, Department of Fine Arts and Design, Desh Bhagat University, was award the National Award for his art work “Hope of Cervical” at the All India Art Exhibition 2022. This artwork was create by him using the woodcut method. In this piece of art, he has skillfully captured the way of life during the Corona era. The Himachal State Museum in Shimla hosted the award presentation. In conjunction with this prize ceremony, an exhibition was plan. The work of 300 artists from across the country was display in the exhibition. Out of these, 130 artefacts were select.

The National Award was give to 15 of these artists. The curator of the Himachal State Museum, Dr. Hari Chauhan, and the secretary of the Department of Language and Culture, Mr. Rakesh Kanwar, presented this award to Dr. Rahul Dhiman. This exhibition will be held at the Himachal State Museum, Shimla, until January 20, 2023. Dr. Zora Singh, the esteemed chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, and Dr. Tajinder Kaur, the pro chancellor, congratulated Dr. Rahul Dhiman on his accomplishment. They claimed that his job as a teacher and an artist is exceptional.
