The department of Social Sciences seeks to maintain a commitment to the pursuit of excellence by assisting students to develop a capacity for independent thought, critical analysis, self-awareness and social awareness, to foster multi-dimensional research to promote social and educational development of the society at local, national and global levels, to be excellent provider of education equipping future professionals with extensive specialist knowledge and a strong sense of ethics, and to be a renowned centre of research, with clearly defined research goals.

Department of Languages

VISION 

Department of Languages aims to become internationally recognized centre of language learning to develop students’ linguistic competence and academic potential through professional language, to enlarge the abilities of its students to become proficient in language at regional, national and global levels and prepare them become innovative researchers, informed global citizens, lifelong learners and productive professionals who will be able to think critically, communicate effectively, and engage successfully in diverse  environments.

M 3: To emphasise on multilingualism by designing curricula promoting establishment of
