PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES
- A. Sociology
PSO 1: Develop effective communication, written and oral, about the field of sociology within the classroom and through a variety of arenas including service learning, international experiences, student research, and internships
PSO 2: Be able to effectively engage with and apply their “sociological imagination” to think critically about the social world and what separates sociology from other social science disciplines
- A. History
PSO1: Doctorate degree in Education gives understanding of the research method and what constitutes scholarly research process.
PSO2: Prepares scholars who will identify and conceptualize significant research problems and are qualified to undertake relevant research and contribute new knowledge to the field.
M.A. Political Science
PSO1: Prepares students to pursue higher education in political science; become good politicians and teachers.
PSO2: Prepares scholars who will identify and conceptualize significant research problems of political issues and are qualified to undertake relevant research and contribute new knowledge to the field.
M.Sc. Psychology
PSO1: To create a strong research oriented theoretical foundation in consonance with recent advances in the discipline of psychology.
PSO 2: To enable students to take a creative, empirical and ethical approach to the program that combines conceptual repertoire and research practices in both quantitative and qualitative traditions.
PSO 3: To provide an opportunity to extend the knowledge base to the world of practice with a view to promote healthy interface between academia and society.
Ph. D Social Science
PSO1: To offer a comprehensive and up-to-date review of the major fields of Political Science, Sociology, Psychology and History
PSO2: To provide the students with a rigorous conceptual framework, basic analytical tools and sound methodological training in the discipline.
PSO3: To cover the major fields of Political Science, Sociology, History and Psychology (Comparative Studies, International Relations, Theories) and offers a rich set of specialization possibilities.
