Anveshan 2023

Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh Punjab and Association of Indian Universities (AIU) jointly organizes Anveshan: Student Research Convention, a pioneering initiative to identify and nurture the research talent among young researcher in the country every year. The conventions are organized in Five Zones (East, West, North, South and Central) and one at National Level. Selected Projected at zonal level are presented at National Level conventions and finally selected projected are given cash awards, mementos and certificates. The overall winners across five categories are also awarded a Gold Medal institutes in the name of Late Prof S K Mukherjee, former President, AIU.

Since its inception, Anveshan is being organized in convention mode. As one of the objectives of this initiative is to facilitate and promote national and international networking and collaboration of Indian Academic Researchers, we need to find ways to connect student researchers in various Indian & foreign institutions. As the first step towards this, AIU has taken an initiative to digitize Anveshan. AIU in partnership with ProjectSet, a research-based consultancy organization based in United Kingdom has developed a dedicated web portal for digitalizing Anveshan. With this, the entry, registration of students to Anveshan and submission of abstracts and complete proposal will be done through online mode. However, the convention will be organized in face-to-face mode.

Aimed at identifying and nurturing research talent of the young and budding researchers in the country, ‘Anveshan: Student Research Convention’ has been attracting overwhelming response and enthusiasm from the young scholars and the community of researchers in the universities. The Anveshan provides a platform to the emerging researchers in universities to express their ideas and creativity leading to innovative research initiatives.
