  • Candidates must have completed graduation from a recognized institution with:
  • Minimum 50% marks for General category 
  • Minimum 45% marks for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Physically Handicapped (PH) 
  • Candidates with Re-appear/Compartment results in the qualifying examination are not eligible for admission. 
  • Candidates must have passed Punjabi up to Metric level/ standard.
  • To maintain high academic standards, candidates must have passed Class X in all of the following subjects: English, Hindi, Punjabi, Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics. Those not meeting this requirement shall not be eligible for admission to the El.Ed. course.
  • Reservation of seats and relaxation in qualifying marks for reserved categories will be as per the rules and policies of the Punjab Government.

  • Bachelor’s degree (regular mode) with general psychology courses in the all three years.
OR
  • Master’s degree in any branch of psychology either in regular or distance mode.
OR
  • Master’s degree in counseling psychology either in regular or distance mode with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
 
  • For SC/ST/OBC category, minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is essential. Entry qualification shall be from a UGC recognized university.
  All reserve category candidates will get relaxation (as per state government norms) in age and others.		 1 Year ( Yearly Mode)
