Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment in New Delhi.

The honour recognizes his contributions to the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA).
The award was presented by Sukhwinder Singh Bindra, Member of the National Institute of Social Defence (NISD).
Under Dr. Zora Singh’s leadership, DBU has undertaken:
Large-scale anti-drug awareness campaigns and outreach programs
Seminars, workshops, and expert sessions on substance abuse prevention
Active student participation through NCC, NSS, and youth initiatives
