Desh Bhagat University organized a three-day World Congress on Advanced Clinical Diagnostics & Healthcare Sciences – 2026.
The event was held in collaboration with Centre for Research & Innovative Scientific Studies under the aegis of the Microbiology Society of India.
The congress was inaugurated by:
- Dr. Zora Singh (Chancellor)
- Dr. Tajinder Kaur (Pro-Chancellor)
- Dr. Harsh Sadawarti (Vice Chancellor)

Key highlights of the congress included:
- Hands-on training in molecular diagnostics
- Scientific oral and poster presentations
- Training in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
- Cancer awareness initiatives
Workshop on ergonomics and postural correction

A National Excellence Awards Ceremony recognized distinguished academicians based on research and professional contributions.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with CRIS DNA Labs, Dehradun to strengthen academia–industry collaboration and skill-based training.
The valedictory ceremony included:

Felicitation of participants and attendees
Conferment of the Faculty Excellence Award to the Faculty of Allied & Healthcare Sciences

Desh Bhagat University hosted a three-day World Congress on Advanced Clinical Diagnostics & Healthcare Sciences – 2026 at Mandi Gobindgarh in collaboration with Centre for Research & Innovative Scientific Studies under the aegis of the Microbiology Society of India. The congress was inaugurated by Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur, and Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, setting the stage for a globally aligned academic platform focused on innovation and interdisciplinary excellence.
