The Agrim Club of the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), celebrated National Science Day 2026 at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Seminar Hall.
The event was organized at Desh Bhagat University.
Around 150 university students and participants from nearly 20 neighboring schools attended the celebration.

Prof. (Dr.) H.K. Sidhu, Dean, formally welcomed the gathering and emphasized the importance of scientific awareness.

Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Gupta elaborated on the theme “Science for a Sustainable Future,” highlighting its relevance in tackling environmental and developmental challenges.

Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Harsh Sadawarti underscored the role of science in national and global progress.

Honourable Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur appreciated the Faculty’s efforts in promoting scientific temper.

Activities included poster presentations, quizzes, and PowerPoint presentations.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Avinash Kumar Bhatia.
