Desh Bhagat University organised the White Coat & Induction Ceremony for the 2025 batch at its Mandi Gobindgarh campus.

Participating institutions included Dental, Nursing, Pharmacy and Ayurvedic Colleges of DBU.

The ceremony was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, along with Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur, President Dr. Sandeep Singh and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti.

Special Guest of Honour Shri Tarun Chugh, National General Secretary (BJP), and

Guest of Honour Dr. Punnet Ghirdhar, Joint DRME, Punjab, graced the occasion.

Senior academicians and principals of respective faculties formally welcomed the dignitaries.

White coats were ceremonially conferred upon first professional students of the 2025 batch.

Dignitaries emphasized professional ethics, responsibility, compassion and human values in healthcare education.

The ceremony concluded with an oath-taking ceremony and a vote of thanks by Dr. B. L. Bhardwaj, Pro-Vice Chancellor, DBU.

During the ceremony, white coats were ceremonially conferred upon the first professional students, symbolising their formal entry into the healthcare profession.
