Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh, launched the B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture programme.

The programme is officially approved by the Punjab State Council for Agricultural Education (PSCAE).

The initiative reflects the university’s commitment to agricultural education, innovation, and sustainable development.

The curriculum focuses on modern farming practices, agri-business management, and emerging technologies in agriculture.

Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor, expressed pride in the university’s growing academic portfolio aligned with national priorities.

Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Pro-Chancellor, and Dr. Sandeep Singh, President, congratulated the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, highlighted that the programme will create new opportunities for rural youth and strengthen the agricultural ecosystem of Punjab.

The launch event was attended by university officials, faculty members, and students.
