Report of Activity:

The Department of Computer Science & Applications under the Techno Club, in

coordination with the Training and Placement Cell of Desh Bhagat University, organized an

Industrial Visit to Sensation Software Solution, Phase-8, Industrial Area, Sector-72, Mohali

on 18th September, 2025.

Mr. Gurjeet Singh Pandher, Assistant Professor & Hod of Computer Science & Applications,

was the coordinator of this event. This event also organized with the help of Training and

Placement Cell. Mr. Yashpal Singh , Senior TPO and Mr. Kapil Sharma, Junior TPO were

also visit the company with Computer Science & Applications students. The visit was

attended by 55 students of BCA 6th Semester, accompanied by The students reached

Sensation Software Solution at 12:30 pm and were warmly welcomed by the staff. The

session began with an interaction with Mr. Rohul, Senior Technical Lead, who introduced

students to the company’s working environment and the latest technologies used in industry,

including A.I, Full Satck, .NET, Web Development, Python, Java, Cloud-based

Development, and AI tools.

He shared valuable insights about industry expectations from fresh graduates, importance of

practical training, internships, and project-based learning, and guided the students on career

paths in the IT sector. Live demonstrations of web application development and cloud

deployment were given, which enhanced the students’ practical knowledge.

The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students clarified their queries

about software development careers, skill requirements, and future technological trends.

This industrial visit provided students with practical exposure, bridging the gap between

academic knowledge and industry practices. At the End, Overall Experience of Industrial

visit is very good. Faculty and Students thankful to the Deputy Director, Faculty of

Engineering Technology and Computing for given this idea of Industrial visit.
