Mandi Gobindgarh, 20 June: The Faculty of Engineering Technology and Computing at Desh Bhagat University, in collaboration with Winnovation Technology, organized a hands-on workshop titled “AI UNLEASHED: MASTERING THE TOOL OF TOMORROW.” Aimed at providing practical exposure to cutting-edge AI tools, the workshop empowered over 200 participants, both online and offline, including faculty, students, and staff. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Zora Singh (Chancellor), Dr. Tajinder Kaur (Pro-Chancellor), Dr. Harsh Sadawarti (Vice Chancellor), and other senior officials. Dr. Singh praised the initiative and urged more such programs in the future, while Dr. Sadawarti emphasized the growing significance of AI in both academic and administrative areas. Mr. Shubham Jasrotia from Winnovation Technology led the session, showcasing tools like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Canva AI, and Grammarly GO, followed by interactive hands-on training. Dr. Khushboo Bansal, Deputy Director, concluded the event with a Vote of Thanks, highlighting DBU’s commitment to technological advancement and digital readiness.
