From the Director's message

The Department of Social Sciences includes inter- disciplinary courses such as Political Science & Public Administration, Sociology, Psychology and History. The various courses conducted by the department build understanding of current and existing social, political, psychological, historical issues in the society. The department conducts BA and MA courses in all disciplines of Social Sciences, Research activities such as M.Phil and Ph.D also takes place in the department.
