Eligibility for admission 

Selection Procedure :
1.He/she has passed the BSc in Radiotherapy Technology or equivalent examination recognized by any Indian University or a duly constituted Board with pass marks (50%).
  1. He/she has to furnish at the time of submission of application form, a certificate of physical fitness from a registered medical practitioner and two references from persons other than relatives testifying to satisfactory general character.
  2. Admission to M.Sc. RTT course shall be made on the basis of eligibility and an entrance test to be conducted for the purpose. No candidate will be admitted on any ground unless he/she has appeared in the admission test and interview.
  3. Entrance test, to be conducted by the university as per the syllabus.
  4. Successful candidates on the basis of written test will be called for the interview & may face an interview board. The interview board will at least have one senior radiation oncologist and one senior medical physicist as members, and one eligible RT Tech.
  5. During subsequent counselling (s) the seat will be allotted as per the merit of the candidate depending on the availability of seats on that particular day.
  6. Candidate who fails to attend the Medical Examination on the notified date(s) will forfeit the claim for admission and placement in the waiting list except permitted by the competent authority under special circumstances.
  7. The name of the student(s) who remain(s) absent from classes for more than 15 days at a stretch after joining the said course will be struck off from the college rolls without giving any notice.
Provision of Lateral Entry:
There should be no provision for lateral entry at Masters Level.
Duration of the Course :
Duration of the course: 2 years or 4 semesters. (690 hours of Theory & 1490 hours of Practical Classes) and mandatory submission of research thesis.

  • A candidate must have passed B.Sc. OTT (Operation Theatre Technology & BAT  (B.Sc.|Anesthesia Technology) or equivalent examination with 50% marks in aggregate.
  • 5% relaxation in marks shall be given to Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe or any rural and under privileged candidates.
The duration of course shall be two academic years consisting of four (4) semesters i.e. two semesters in each year.

M.Sc. MLT (Biochemistry)
  1. Candidate should have passed Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS).
  2. Minimum percentage of marks: 50% aggregate.
Duration of the course: Total 2 Years (4 semesters or 2048 hours) with 1.5 Years didactic and practical (1536 hours) + 6 months (512 hours) Research project/Dissertation.
Master of MLT (Biochemistry) Course Outcome

  1. Candidate should have passed Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS).
  2. Minimum percentage of marks: 50% aggregate.
  3. Separate entrance exam should be incorporated for these students who want to purse Masters in MLS.
Provision of Lateral Entry: There should be no provision for lateral entry at Masters Level.
