PO1. Pharmacy knowledge: Possess knowledge and comprehension of the core and basic knowledge associated with the profession of pharmacy, including biomedical sciences; pharmaceutical sciences; behavioral, social, and administrative pharmacy sciences; and manufacturing practices.

This subject is designed to impart fundamental knowledge on the structure and Functions of the various systems of the human body. It also helps in understanding both homeostatic mechanisms and their imbalances. The subject provides the basic knowledge required to understand the various disciplines of pharmacy.

It is also emphasizing on genetic organization of mammalian genome and hetero & autocatalytic functions of DNA.

Hence it will not only help to study the syllabus of pathology, but also to get baseline knowledge required to practice medicine safely, confidently, rationally and effectively.
