Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh (Pb) is the first state private university in Punjab to introduce Aeronautical Engineering. Department of Aeronautical Engineering was established in the year 2013 under the Faculty of Engineering and Technology to provide quality education, nurturing Indian traditions and ethos. The objective and philosophy behind the establishment of the Department is to promote in depth education and conduct research and innovation in emerging areas of Aerospace Engineering that will be beneficial for the Nation and the World at large. The curricula designed are comprehensive and are comparable to International Standard keeping in mindthe explosive growth in civil aviation, satellite communications and space exploration.
