Two days Yoga Day Camp from 06/02/2017 to 07/02/17
Aim of the Activity Yoga Day celebration and knowing its benefits.
Yoga incorporates breathing exercises, meditation and poses designed to encourage relaxation and reduce stress. Practicing yoga is said to come with many benefits for both mental and physical health. There is no doubt about the importance of Yoga for students. With today’s lifestyle, People tend to forget about their physical and mental health accumulating stress and fatigue in the body. Sadly, today almost all the youngsters and children have become patients of a no. of diseases like stress, nervousness, stomach related issue, sleeping disorder and so on, because of different life conditions and work culture. Friends & family pressure, examination stress, long working hours, unpredictable dietary patterns are a variety of reasons for leading an unpleasant way of life. Yoga has become a feature of regular everyday practice. It is important for everybody whether you’re a child or grown-up adult, you need to perform Yoga practices daily for getting benefits such as feelings of serenity, keep up vitality levels, improve adaptability, and discover motivation to channelize your energies correctly. Learning Yoga at an early age can have good and enormous advantages on the general wellbeing as well as the prosperity of the students. An everyday practice will, therefore, result in improved posture, improvement in lung capacity, boosting memory, and help build up a state of mind while discovering the innermost potential.

Aim of the Activity To remember the great acharyas and their work in field of Ayurveda.
Charaka was one of the principal contributors to Ayurveda, a system of medicine and lifestyle developed in Ancient India. He is known as the compiler or editor ( pratisaṃskartā) of the medical treatise, the Charaka Samhita . Charaka's location is unknown, although various assertions have been made that he lived either in Taxila or in Kapisthal (now known as Jalandhar), located between Iravati (Ravi River) and Chandrabagha (Chenab River) rivers in Panchanada (Punjab). The treatise that Charaka compiled is one of the foundational treatises of classical Indian medicine (Sanskrit: āyurveda).

Free Medical Camp on 03/10/2017
Aim of the Activity To help and cure the disease.
As a socially cognizant organisation, Desh Bhagat Hospital and Ayurveda College has undertaken a major initiative of organizing free monthly health check camps dedicated towards ensuring the health of humans. Following the pledge of doctors from Desh Bhagat Hospital and Ayurveda College to dedicate one day a month to provide healthcare services to urban, semi urban and rural areas of India.

Ayurveda Day Celebration on 17/10/17
Aim of the Activity To attain the health and team sprit values
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today dedicated the All India Institute of Ayurveda, in New Delhi, to the Nation. The first ever All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) is set up along the lines of AIIMS. As an apex institute under the Ministry of AYUSH, the AIIA will bring synergy between the traditional wisdom of Ayurveda and modern diagnostic tools and technology. Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge) Shri Shripad Naik was also present on this occasion. Speaking on this occasion, the Prime Minister congratulated the gathering on the celebration of Dhanvantari Jayanti as Ayurveda Divas. Ans so the Ayurveda day is celebrated in Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital.

Yoga for Holistic Health Celebration on 19/06/2017
Aim of the Activity Equality for women
The idea of an International Day of Yoga was the first proposed by the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, on 27 September 2014.
  • On December 11, 2017, the United Nations declared June 21 as the International Yoga Day.

  • International Yoga Day is celebrated annually on 21 June since its first edition in year 2015.

  • 21 June was suggested as the date for international Yoga Day as it is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and shares special significance in many parts of the world.

  • The first International Yoga Day function held on June 21, 2015, at Rajpath in Delhi witnessed Narendra Modi performing Yoga along with over 200 million people across the country and over 37,000 people in Delhi alone.

Ayurvedic Overview of Mansik Rogas
A two days Faculty development programme (FDP-2016) was successfully conducted in the Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Govindgarh, on 19th – 20th December 2016 by Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College And Hospital. The FDP programme received an overwhelming response with participants from dept. of Kayachikitsa.

Leech Therapy: Traditional & Rational Way To Cure
A three days Faculty development programme (FDP-2014) was successfully conducted in the Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh, on 18 th – 20th June 2014 by Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College And Hospital. The FDP programme received an overwhelming response with participants from nearby Ayurvedic Colleges.
